Anthony Grippa

Anthony Grippa grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in History.

Following graduation, he spent two years studying and performing improv at The People’s Improv Theater in New York while he co-wrote, produced, and directed the independent feature film Running Funny starring Tony nominated actor Louis Zorich, for which he was given the “Emerging Filmmaker Award” at the 2007 Woods Hole Film Festival.  LifeSize Entertainment released the film theatrically and on DVD in January 2009.  Anthony has also written and directed several short films, music videos, and commercials.

He is currently a Directing Fellow at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles.
